Charles Devon

Charles Devon is an American songwriter and singer from Detroit Michigan. Charles attended the Detroit School of Arts, famously known for its Alumna, Aaliyah. He has written music for television and film including CBS, OWN, the hit television show " It's Not You, It's Men" with Tyrese & Rev Run and Empire. He is currently an artist and songwriter for many rising stars as well as the owner and operator of his own music consultant company.

Charles released a songwriter EP in April of 2015 entitled, "Tried & True", known for its most famous single "Star Search," arranged by producer Dre Knight in Smokey Robinson's home piano room. His most recent EP, “Wait For it” is critically acclaimed with raved reviews. The project peaked at 29 countries and international radio play in Europe and the UK.

Charles has also worked with Atlantic records to help sign and develop artists. He worked with the NAACP Image Awards as the Recording Coordinator. He is also a member of The Recording Academy(GRAMMYS) where he is an advocate for music, and its makers.
